Giving

Thank you for joining together with other individuals and families, alumni, congregations and businesses to invest toward a new generation of Christ-centered leaders for our church, business and service -- both locally and abroad.

Your contribution of any amount is appreciated and used wisely! For questions or to learn more about getting involved with Central Christian School feel free to contact Advancement Director, Bethany Nussbaum at bnussbaum@ccscomets.org or 330.857.7311 ext. 223.

Annual Fund:
The annual fund is our first priority and enables the educational experiences beyond what families can afford in tuition, such as music, fine arts, athletics and other opportunities. Tuition pays for approximately 70 percent of the cost of education, while the generosity of other individuals, families, alumni, congregations and businesses cover the remaining 30 percent. Contributions from our annual auction, Central Service Day (CSD) and other fundraiser events go toward our annual fund.

Facilities Endowment:

Endowments provide essential support to maintain or update current facilities or construct new campus facilities. Unlike the annual fund, an endowment is established to continue generating income. The endowment fund is invested and professionally managed to produce additional income. As the principal grows, so does the amount that is transferred to the operating budget. Up to 5 percent of the endowment earnings are transferred to the operating budget each year.

Tuition Endowment:
Though the cost of tuition at Central Christian School can be a barrier for some, our goal is to offer financial assistance to all in need (especially families with multiple children attending) through the tuition endowment fund. By growing this fund and handing out a greater amount of tuition assistance we strengthen the diversity among us, ensuring that Central Christian School is a viable option for anyone interested, not just the middle or upper class.
